Iridology
is both an art and a science that dates back further than Western Medicine into the times of Ancient Egypt. By studying the fibers, patterns and colors of your iris and other parts of the eye, an overall picture of the health of your body‘s tissues and organs can be made. Inflammation, toxins, injuries, circulation, degrees of healing, the under or over functioning of organs and so much more can be seen by the trained Iridologist.
Herbalism
is designed to use herbs to treat the underlying causes of disease in a client. Instead of looking at the signs and symptoms and then treating the disease, herbalists look at the whole picture, from lifestyle to physical stressor, in order to prescribe the right treatment. Once the cause of a condition is discovered, the herb is prescribed to restore the body's natural balance. Herbalism is understanding how different herbs work with the body to restore balance and health. Herbs are also used in many traditions as a preventative action to boost immune function and promote general wellbeing before any disease occurs.
Supplementation
is occasionally suggested, especially during the beginning for therapeutic benefit. Stephanie may recommend a three month regimen followed by a break of one month (or more) to give the body a break and see if you no longer need the extra supplementation. Eventually, all the nutrients you need will be received in food and herbal teas and only occasionally in tinctures, extracts, and supplements. Be sure to notify your primary care provider of all vitamins, minerals, and supplements you take as it is intended to be ‘complimentary care‘.
Homeopathy
is actually the 2nd most widely used medicine of the world. It consists of minute doses of substances given to symptomatic people, which stimulates a healing reaction within the body‘s tissues and organs to bring about a curative effect. Therefore, homeopathy is not a permanent supplement but a temporary facilitating substance to remind the body of balance.
